Congratulations to the Blue Devils from Gate City last night on a hard fought game (I'm speaking about the boys game). Anyways, I must say that I was highly disappointed with the reaction of the Wise fans that I was sitting amongst. No sooner had the game ended the person in front of me was asking "how many kids do they have in their school? They shouldn't be in this district, etc." Not only that, but when the trophies were being presented the Wise fans (the ones I was sitting with), did not clap or congratulate a fellow LPD team for winning the Region D Tournament. The whole game I heard nothing but bad comments on Gate City, and the fans could not stomach that Gate City had won. But I guess that's how it goes when your Lady Injuns lost earlier, or maybe just some bitter and jealous fans?

congratulations gc... .yeah i heard some of the ts boys had a great time... i remember when castlewood fans were doing the same thing the past 3 years when we was in the region d championship.. so what goes around comes around.. i knew the excuses where going to come if fisher played we would have won.. u dont know that.. just like u dont know that ts wouldnt have beat u the past 2 years without our exchange students or transfers ... so get over it.. yeah castlewood thinks all ts is cheaters and all this stuff. but i never heard so many people complaing over a fan section ....gc people were saying that castlewood was the biggest bunch of babies ...

i noticed this too. i think castlewood expressed poor sportsmanship. they should be happy with the runner up region d trophy. it's not like they have a bunch of region d championship trophies to move for the new one.

Castlewood has for the past few years a "talk it but can't walk it attitude". I can remember a few years ago in FB how Castlewood's fans were. Constantly berating players from the other team, especially Warner. Once I saw one of their players come up behind a kid and jerk off his helmet and start punching him in the face setting off a melee. Then their fans showed their class by yelling insults and tryng to further incite the situation. That was the night I lost all respect for the CW Blue Devils. And one thing I've noticed when CW fans come on here is they like to shoot off their mouths and then make excuses when their teams can't back it up. Like I said...they can talk it but they seem to have a hard time walkin' it.
